On October 14th, Help Save UC submitted a document to the City of San Diego Planning Department with our proposed parameters for a modified land use scenario for the University Community Plan Update. This proposal is based on the city's Land Use Scenario 2 (their lower density scenario), but with density further reduced and other adjustments made. Help Save UC has requested that the City develop a land use scenario following the parameters listed in this proposal. We also presented a summary of this proposal during the public comment period at the October 18th online meeting of the Community Plan Update Subcommittee.
